As revealed by RMC Sport, the players of the France team have their playlist for Euro 2024. If they do not have an anthem as was the case at the 2022 World Cup with “Freed From Desire” from Gala , the Blues still have their favorite sounds. The title “Posa” by Fally Ipupa is one of them. Contacted by RMC Sport, the Congolese songwriter gave us an interview in full preparation for the Afro Nation festival, which begins this Friday in Portugal.
Fally Ipupa, how does it feel to know that the Blues are listening to your music in the locker room during Euro 2024?
It’s nice and warms the heart. I think I’m not too bad (laughs). Some of the players from the French team play for Real Madrid so that makes me even more happy since I love the club.
Do you personally know some players from the France team?
Of course, I’ve known a few of them for a while. First the dad of Aurélien Tchouaméni and also that of Kylian Mbappé. I haven’t been able to get to know Kylian well yet, but we’ve already crossed paths. He will be in Madrid soon, so I am even happier. I also get along well with Randal Kolo Muani.

Your song “Posa” is part of the Blues’ playlist during this Euro, why do you think they like it?
The song “Posa” means “desire”. I want to do everything. To eat. You make me want to scream, you make me want to love you. To say that you are the most beautiful.
