Pierre Morey, manager of Morey caterer, is pleased to announce that his company has just won the 2024 gold medal in the competition for the best artisanal parsley ham.

The caterer explains: “It is the brotherhood of the knights of Saint-Antoine which organizes competitions in several regions of and, in particular, that of the best parsley ham of Burgundy. The tests took place at the fair in front of a jury made up of a group of people who gave their opinions. In addition to the silver and bronze medals that our House obtained in this area, this is the fourth gold medal that it has won. This is an achievement knowing that the rules of this competition stipulate that gold medalists can only participate every 4 years. »

Maison Morey, caterers since 1951

Then Pierre Morey recalls: “Morey Traiteur is a family business created in 1951 by my parents in Mercurey. Then, after years of work, the company settled in Châtenoy-le-Royal with three employees. It now has 25 employees and retains its original traditional and artisanal character. This success of the marbled ham is the fruit of my collaboration for years with my team, including Arnaud who helped me make this competition marbled ham. »

In addition to the silver and bronze medals that our House obtained in this area, this is the fourth gold medal that it has won.
