A very responsive panel
The Asus TUF Gaming A15 is a laptop PC resolutely designed for gaming, and this is reflected in its design. Geometric details, marked angles, backlit keyboard with the most used control keys clearly highlighted… Like the majority of gaming machines, it is not the most discreet (which is not a fault), but its chassis black can still suit most people. In terms of connectivity, it comes with an HDMI 2.1 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port (DisplayPort), a LAN port and a jack port. And on the connectivity side, the laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
The laptop is also equipped with a 15.6-inch Full HD panel, which offers sufficiently sharp and detailed images on a fairly large display area; practical so as not to miss any detail in your part. Above all, it promises exemplary fluidity thanks to its refresh rate of 144 Hz, an essential functionality during nervous combos so as not to suffer from any delay, stutter or motion blur.
Good power under the hood
In the bowels of this Asus TUF Gaming A15, nestles first of all an eight-core Ryzen 7 7435HS processor clocked at 3.1 GHz (boost up to 4.5 GHz). It is supported by 16 GB of RAM for greater speed; a configuration which therefore allows multitasking without slowing down and launching more complex software. On the GPU side, we are entitled to an RTX 3050, which is certainly not the latest from Nvidia, the RTX 3050 having been replaced by the 4050, but this old graphics card is still capable of launching AAA games in Full HD .
Please note, the most recent titles cannot be launched with the graphics at maximum. Fortunately, Nvidia’s AI features, namely the ray tracing and DLSS, are here. Finally, in terms of autonomy, do not expect exceptional endurance with this type of configuration which requires a lot of resources. So be sure to keep the charger close to you. Also note that this model is supplied without Windows.
