Tessier was in the starting XV in all six of Canada’s games in 2024, scoring a total of 27 points. In the second match of the 2024 Pacific Four Series against Australia, Alex earned her 50th international cap for Canada, who won 33–14. In her 51st Test match, she helped her team win the first victory in its history against New Zealand and to win the Pacific Four Series title in May, Alex kicking the ball into touch on the last action of the game to seal the victory for Canada.
