It is with complete discretion that the memory of Anouk Aimée was honored. Died on Tuesday June 18 at the age of 92, the actress was buried a week later in the Saint-Vincent de Montmartre cemetery. According to those around him for BFMTV, the funeral took place this Tuesday, June 25 “in the strictest family and friendly privacy”. She will now continue to reside in this neighborhood that is dear to her, the one where she lived and where she died. To pay him a final tribute, director Claude Lelouch was present at the funeral. The filmmaker had participated in the rise of the actress at the international level thanks to his legendary film A man and a woman.

In the feature film which received the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1966, she shared the poster with Jean-Louis Trintignant. Claude Lelouch was also the author of his come-back. In 2019, he directed the sequel toA man and a woman with the movie The best years, bringing the actress back in front of the cameras. Other relatives of the deceased came to honor her memory during the funeral such as Nadine Trintignant, former wife of the famous actor, the filmmaker Elie Chouraqui and the actors Charlotte Rampling and Richard Berri. Producer Dominique Besnehard also made the trip.

Among her close friends, Anouk Aimée could count on the actress Charlotte de Turckheim, who had made her play in her film Gosh ! released in 2012.
