A shocking testimony for the investigation into the death of Liam Payne. Braian Nahuel Paiz is one of the three people arrested by the Argentine police. The man claimed he had only “relaxed” with the star.
As a reminder, Liam Payne made a fatal fall from his hotel balcony, and one of the suspects wants to help the police, according to reports.
An investigation with twists and turns
Three people were arrested following the death of the 31-year-old singer. One person is accused”abandonment of person followed by death“, a hotel employee and a third person are accused of having supplied drugs. These accusations were
denied by the three suspects. Argentine investigators and prosecutors are analyzing evidence to determine the exact circumstances of his death. The latter, when he fell from the third floor, was under
the influence of illegal substances.
In an interview for the American magazine US
WeeklyBraian Nahuel Paiz, allegedly involved and arrested in connection with this case, spoke. “I want to bring everything : my phone, anything that can contribute to the investigation. I have nothing that can harm me. …The other thing is to bring what
I saw it personally and what I experienced firsthand.”
The testimony of a suspect
Braian, one of the suspects, said he had only met Liam twice. “We saw each other with Liam, it was
calm. We met, we listened to music. He asked me what kind of music I liked, hip-hop or dance. I said ‘dance’. The young man claimed to have met the singer through his work at a local restaurant. The star of One
Direction would then have sent him a private message on Instagram via a secondary account.
He then visited Liam at his hotel, but denied supplying him with drugs. “No, we just saw each other. The person who was there before me, I suppose, left him the box of soap and everything that contained the drugs carried in his room.” he explains before saying that Liam Payne told him to leave before anyone else arrived. “I don’t know what was going on, what it was. I realized it because my back was turned, and he turned around. I realized what was happening, got up, opened the door and there was no one there.“When I learned of the singer’s death, the shock was immense:
“It was really hard. I was very sad, I felt very bad at work. … It took everything from me.”
