Former coach Bela Karolyi, who notably led Nadia Comaneci to Olympic gold, died on Saturday at the age of 82. Romanian from the country's Hungarian minority, he was the coach of Comaneci, gymnastics legend, for his Olympic coronations in 1976 in Montreal (individual all-around, uneven bars and balance beam with 7 maximum scores of 10), and in 1980 in Moscow (floor and beam).
