“Ukraine must do everything in its power to end the war with Russia diplomatically next year”declared President Volodimir Zelensky. In a radio interview broadcast this Saturday, November 16, the Ukrainian head of state acknowledged that the situation on the battlefield in the east of the country was currently difficult, “complex”and that Russia was progressing. He stressed that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin was not interested in a peace deal. In fact, the president is calling for international mobilization. “If we only talk with Putin, only with a murderer, and we find ourselves in the current conditions, not reinforced by some important elements, I think that Ukraine will lose from these negotiations,” a dit Volodymyr Zelensky.

Volodimir Zelensky noted that US law prevented him from meeting President-elect Donald Trump before his inauguration next January. The German appeal to Putin
