The cult shooter Half-Life 2, widely considered one of the best games in the industry’s history, has celebrated its 20th anniversary.
The Valve company could not ignore such an important anniversary and has prepared surprises for fans of the game.
Here’s what we know
Valve released a major update for Half-Life 2, in which the developers added support for the Steam Workshop, new achievements, a mode with developer comments, bug fixes, improved graphics and Updated controls on Steam Deck.
All the new features of the update are available on the official Half-Life 2 Anniversary website.
Additionally, the Episode 1 and 2 story add-ons are now integrated into the base game and are no longer sold separately.
To celebrate the anniversary, everyone can get the iconic game for free until November 18.
Fans of the adventures of Gordon Freeman will probably be delighted to see an in-depth two-hour documentary on the creation of the famous Half-Life 2.
