After 18 months of treatment, she revealed on Instagram that she had removed her PAC, this device implanted under the skin to facilitate the administration of chemotherapy. “Yesterday, I said goodbye to my PAC, this little box implanted under my skin which allowed me to receive my chemotherapy […] I am freed from it today with emotion after 18 months of treatment. “, she wrote with emotion.
Rebuilding yourself after an operation
In addition to this great news, Hugo Philipp’s partner revealed that she had also undergone an operation… But there is no need to panic, it is a symbolic intervention used in its reconstruction. Caroline Receveur therefore proceeded to reduce her breasts, a decision taken after her mastectomy carried out a year earlier. “After my mastectomy, I had difficulty reclaiming my breast, my breasts. They were no longer symmetrical in size or shape. I only wanted to take it all out. 12 months day to the day after removing my left breast, I am finally rebuilding myself and turning a new page lighter than ever for my 37 years.” A speech that will speak to two many women affected by this cancer.
