Big blow for Laeticia Hallyday. According to our colleagues at the magazine Closer,
the widow of Johnny Hallyday was hospitalized in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, for pyelonephritis, a serious infection of queens. While she had embarked on humanitarian action for an association which helps children in need, Jade and Joy’s mother felt very bad.

Laeticia Hallyday hospitalized in Vietnam

Upon her arrival in Vietnam, the beautiful blonde took the time to visit an orphanage specializing in caring for children with disabilities: “Moved to return to Vietnam for this mission that is so close to my heart. Finding our teams, the children, and seeing everything that @labonneetoileorg achieves on the ground fills me with gratitude and strength.”
she wrote on Instagram, in the caption of published photos. This Wednesday, November 13, she also shared a video in which we can see her on a scooter in Hanoi.

And Laeticia Hallyday seemed in good shape: “Hanoi, my eternal favorite which is much more than a destination, she wrote. This city is an emotion, a source of inspiration, a part of me. (…) Thanks to my incredible team @ labonneetoileorg who shares these moments of life with me”, she wrote. But it is clear that his state of health has suddenly deteriorated. The widow of Johnny Hallyday will therefore be able to take some rest, she who has never stopped paying tribute to her late husband,
died in December 2017.

A relative of the singer confides in the attitude of Laeticia Hallyday

Moreover, a relative of the mother returned to the attitude of Taulier’s widow, who was addicted to alcohol and cigarettes, after the singer’s death. Indeed, the artist’s former manager, Sébastien Farran, wanted to salute the courage of Laeticia Hallyday:
“Even the evening he died, she knew how to preserve an ultra-family atmosphere. She had invited Jean-François Piège and Hélène Darroze, and her friends to dinner… It was very friendly“, he remembered.

He also remembered the day of the death of the artist he accompanied for years: “I left Marnes-la-Coquette at 8 p.m., I was watching a film at home when Jean-François Piège called me around 10 p.m. telling me that it was over, that Laeticia was asking to see me. I got up like a soldier and worked for seven days and nights straight. I was at the Élysée every morning at 6:30 a.m. to organize the national funeral.”

The touching confidences of Johnny Hallyday’s former manager

In mourning for many years, the former Taulier restaurant paid tribute to him on multiple occasions. “I was suffering. Until the last minute, I did not want to accept that Johnny could die, because I wanted to continue working with him,” he confided on Instagram. According to Sébastien Farran, the Taulier still wanted to get back on stage and give everything for his audience.

“Ten days before he left us, we were talking about the next tour,” he confided “I have the feeling of an aborted story”. Speaking about all subjects, Sébastien Ferran then asked himself several questions:
“I think of him very often. The world has changed incredibly since he left: what would he have thought of the United States or today, of #MeToo?”
