Originally from Nogent, departmental delegate of young LR in Haute-Marne, Mathieu Maire has just been designated by the national regional delegate for the Grand Est.
At 18 years old, Mathieu Maire is a young man involved in politics for several years. He is an activist with Les Républicains and more particularly with the Jeunes Républicains. He runs the Haute-Marne federation and regularly brings together young people around Apéro'po. They go to meet an elected official. This was the case recently in Vignory where young people spoke for two hours with Etienne Marasi, mayor and regional councilor. They were mobilized again recently, on November 9 as part of the commemorations of the anniversary of the death of General De Gaulle in Colombey. A new Apéro'po will take place at the end of December. But, Mathieu Maire has also just been appointed head of the young Republicans of the Grand Est. The national office has in fact announced his appointment. “With his commitment and determination, Mathieu Maire's mission will be to strengthen the presence and influence of the Young Republicans in this strategic region by mobilizing youth around republican values and the country's major issues”explains the national office of the Young Republicans in its press release. Mathieu Maire, originally from Nogent, currently at Sciences Po in Bordeaux, is happy to be entrusted with these new missions. He is preparing a tour of the Grand Est to meet departmental delegates and young Republicans in each of the ten departments.
