Wednesday November 13, around 3:50 p.m., an SNCF controller was attacked on a train connecting Saint-Dié-des-Vosges to Nancy.

Without a ticket, the traveler attacks the train controller
The events took place shortly before the train arrived at Nancy station. The traveler does not have a transport ticket, the controller decides to fine him.
“That’s when the passenger gets angry, breaks a window, threatens to kill the inspector and chases him into the carriage“, says the police.
The controller manages to hide in a room, but the traveler insists and succeeds in force the door before hitting him. Travelers try to intervene.
The man arrested at Nancy station
The traveler is arrested by the police and railway security on the platform, upon the arrival of the TER. Originally from Plainfaing (Vosges), the man is highly alcoholic: 2.3 g/l of blood.
Placed in police custody, he will be brought before court this Friday.
The controller, shocked by this attack, received one day of ITT (total incapacity for work).
