The rear light shown is similar to that of the European Volkswagen Tayron. But there are some differences: the American Tiguan added red accents on the sides.
We already know that the basis of the American Tiguan will be a long-wheelbase version of the Tayron with some changes in design, engine and equipment. In short, Volkswagen promises that the Tiguan will have its own “American face”. The Tiguan's platform should remain the same as that of the Tayron (photo below) – MQB evo.
