Othman Nasrou, Secretary of State for Citizenship and the Fight against Discrimination, launched the 7th edition of the Ilan Halimi Prize this Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Prix Ilan Halimi
The Ilan Halimi Prize was created in 2018 as part of the National Plan to Combat Racism and Anti-Semitism 2018-2020.
This prize makes it possible to mobilize and reward groups of young people under the age of 25, in a school setting or not, who take action contributing to reducing racist and anti-Semitic prejudices. This action can for example fall within the cultural, sporting, digital fields or interventions with the public (podcast, exhibition, etc.). The actions presented must have been carried out during the year 2023 or 2024.
This year, a student prize has also been created.
