This Wednesday, November 13, the body of a woman was found lifeless in the car of the mother suspected of having killed three children, in Val-d'Illiez, a village located on the Swiss border. It is indeed that of Déborah P, the mother, aged 45, suspected of having killed three children on Tuesday in Taninges, in Haute-Savoie, indicates the Bonneville prosecutor's office this Thursday.
Swiss authorities quickly confirmed that it was the body of the suspect. The Bonneville public prosecutor, Boris Duffau, estimated that “checks were necessary to ascertain with certainty the identity of the deceased.”
This Thursday, he confirms that it is indeed the mother: “The Swiss authorities have confirmed the identity of the person found deceased, it is indeed the mother of the three children.” Adding that “the results of the autopsy are still not known”specifies Boris Duffau, public prosecutor of Bonneville.
The autopsies of the three children, carried out in parallel, confirmed that they died from stab wounds. These homicides caused strong emotion in this mountain town of 3,500 inhabitants in the Giffre valley, approximately 50 km east of Geneva, where a medico-psychological emergency unit was set up at the town hall.
Aged 45 and described as depressed, this teacher is suspected of having killed the three children of her blended family with knives.
