A fire, the origin of which is currently still unknown, broke out on the night of Thursday, November 14 around 3 a.m. Firefighters quickly intervened to contain the fire.
It was a warehouse that was engulfed in flames, according to company boss Naudet. It is completely destroyed. “There was nothing vital in this hangar, but everything is destroyed. It is a big loss for us and there is a big damage. The damage is considerable,” explains the business manager.
He estimates it at nearly two million euros. “There was equipment in it. Forklifts and equipment for the fir plantation. The hangar was new. »
Criminal origin?
Little room for doubt for the boss, the fire would not have happened by accident. “Nothing could have allowed a fire to start on its own. To me, that's malicious. But the police will do their job. »
According to our information, two fires broke out. Around 2 p.m., firefighters were still on site to contain the last areas of fire.
