new update for Samsung TVs in Europe

Samsung has released a Tizen 8 update with One UI theme for 2023 smart TVs in Europe. Previously, this firmware was already available in India, UK and Canada.

Here's what we know

The update is now available for users in the Netherlands and Romania.

One UI changes the interface, bringing it closer to the design of Galaxy phones with rounded app icons and updated colors.

It includes a new Samsung Daily+ tab that gives you access to SmartThings, Map View, Ring My Phone, fitness apps and Philips Hue. The Quick Settings and Connected Devices panels have also been updated.

How to turn it on

To update your TV, you need to go to Settings, select Software Update and click Update Now.
