The opening of the Village of Barcarès delayed
In Barcarès, we have been smiling again since yesterday. After the fire which affected an area of 3,000m2 within the Christmas village during the night from Sunday to Monday, and which somewhat tarnished the magic of Christmas, the organizers reacted quickly and announced yesterday on Facebook that the opening was postponed to Saturday November 23, without specifying whether the damaged part will be ready in time.
As a result, the fireworks planned for the evening before are postponed until the following week. There will therefore be two fireworks displays on the weekend of November 29, one on Friday and one on Saturday.

SNCF does not rule out proceedings against the mayor of Quillan
The standoff continues between the mayor of Quillan (Aude), the Occitanie region and the SNCF. After local elected official Pierre Castel announced his desire to participate in an action to remove the rails from Quillan station this Saturday, an action carried out as a sign of protest against the reopening of the Limoux-Quillan line, we learned that the SNCF sent him a letter to inform him that legal action would be taken in the event of deliberate damage.
A letter which did not discourage the mayor, the City of Quillan having once again invited citizens to mobilize yesterday on Facebook.
