During the night of Wednesday 6 to Thursday 7 November, armed men targeted a supermarket, in the northern districts of Marseille (15th), before setting it on fire.
The fire then caused the evacuation of several residents of the building. On the internet, a video testifies to the violence of these acts, before the fire was started.
Shots fired in a convenience store in Marseille
Gunshots, screams, insults: in a video posted on social networks, we see the violence of the acts which allegedly occurred in a supermarket in the Arnavaux district last week.
It was in fact 2 a.m. when armed and hooded individuals fired several times.
Alerted by the sound of the explosions and seeing the first flames, a neighbor immediately notified the police. The business had been totally destroyed.
A 41-year-old woman hospitalized
The Marseille city firefighters managed to bring the fire under control, which extended to the first floor of the building. In total, eight people had been evacuated from the building, including a 41-year-old woman, who had been hospitalized for observation after inhaling smoke, the firefighters then confirmed Marseille news.
The individuals, actively sought, then fled in a vehicle.
