Tried before the criminal court for sexual assault while drunk, Ben Yedder was found guilty of all the charges. The former AS Monaco striker is sentenced to two years in prison. An obligation of care and compensation for the victim set at 6,500 euros (5,000 for moral damage and 1,500 for legal costs) were also notified to him. Sanctioned for refusing to comply, Ben Yedder also received a fine of 5,000 euros and a suspension of his driving license for a period of six months. However, his father's vehicle was returned to him.

As a reminder, on October 15, the prosecutor requested two years and six months in prison, including 18 months with a probationary suspension. Wissam Ben Yedder was already under judicial supervision, after paying bail of 900,000 euros to another young woman who accused him of rape during another evening during the summer of 2023. The case is still under investigation. The former Blues and AS Monaco striker must also be tried at the end of December for psychological violence against his wife as part of divorce proceedings initiated since May 2023.
