Congratulations to Michel and Nicole

Saturday, November 9, Michel and Nicole Boyer did not expect what was happening, not to their detriment, but to their advantage for a memorable day full of surprises. It all started with the midday meal which, initially planned elsewhere for them, ended up at the Montdoumerc village hall in the greatest secrecy. It was Laurent, their son, who was behind this surprise to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Helped by members of the “Chemin des Rencontres” among others, he had put together the scenario so well that Michel and Nicole arrived in Montdoumerc around 1 p.m., expecting to share a meal with friends. When the doors to the room opened, what was their surprise to see that 130 people were there for them, ready to party! After the first emotions, an aperitif initiated the meal, partly prepared by Laurent, all punctuated with surprises: songs, search for (fake) truffles, etc., all in a very warm atmosphere. In summary, a day full of emotions for Michel and Nicole, which they did not expect. All the guests were satisfied with the progress of this party, so much so that a few people extended the evening to support the morale of Michel and Nicole and continue to send them the customary congratulations in such circumstances.
