Reims will host OL on Saturday November 23. Before this Ligue 1 match, the Rémois will play a friendly match on Wednesday.
This is something that has become increasingly rare. If coaches agree that recovery is essential in order to achieve their goals, they generally use international breaks for this. Thus, Olympique Lyonnais put its unselected players in the fridge for three days, until Thursday. Reims, for its part, took another stance. Luka's men Elsner will play a friendly poster.
Three days off at the end of the week
On Wednesday, November 13, the Champenois will face Olympique Charleroi, a Belgian team, at 3 p.m. In the morning, they will have taken part in training. The Rémois also resumed the sessions this Tuesday, and will continue until Thursday, before being put to rest until next Sunday, i.e. for three days.
Before the two-week break, Teddy's teammates Teuma found the path to success by largely dominating Le Havre (0-3) on Sunday. A good result reversing the dynamic, since they remained on three consecutive losses in Ligue 1 before that. They were successively beaten by Toulouse (1-0), Brest (1-2) and Auxerre (2-1). Currently 7th, they are only one point behind the Rhodaniens, their future opponents. Reims will host OL on Saturday November 23 at 9 p.m., for the 12th day.
