The following are just questions, with no assertions on my part; These are questions that I ask myself, just as I have many times during my career as a journalist, in order to find answers for my audience.
This time, my questions revolve around the reasons for the absence of Kylian Mbappé during two matches of the French national team against the same opponent: Israel.
I would like to know the real reasons for the absence of an international player like Kylian Mbappé, especially during two matches against a nation which is currently at the center of one of the biggest hot topics of our time: Israel!
First question: could it be the fact that the opposing country – facing France for the second time in barely a month – is one of the Middle Eastern nations that has been the scene of protests coming from Gaza, where did the Hamas terrorists, responsible for the attack on party participants on October 7, 2023, come from? Gaza is in fact the target of the Israeli military response against Hamas.

Can we believe that Mbappé’s absence during the two Israel-France clashes is simply due to the fact that the national coach does not consider him fit enough to participate in such matches?
Would it also have been ruled out if France’s adversary had been a nation other than Israel?
Why didn’t Kylian Mbappé go to the Israel-France match on October 10 in Hungary, 1,973 kilometers from Madrid? The away match was banned from being held in Israel by UEFA, who then relocated it to Budapest. UEFA also considered that the banner supporting the Palestinians, displayed in the stands of Paris Saint-Germain and protesting against Israel, was not reprehensible.

Meanwhile, Mbappé received permission from his club, Atletico Madrid, to travel 2,593 kilometers simply to visit a nightclub in Stockholm, Sweden! So, nothing stopped him from going to the match of the France team, of which he has been captain for several seasons. It later turned out that he didn’t even watch the match, neither on his phone nor on a standard TV! Apparently, he preferred other pleasures, apparently more intimate.
Since nothing stopped him from leaving Madrid, why did he choose Stockholm rather than Budapest?
Was it simply to be photographed outside a nightclub to convincingly prove that he was in Stockholm – which seems to have worked out very well for him – and not in Budapest mingling with his French teammates, including Israeli players?
Could he have feared being photographed alongside Israeli players while supporting his friends in Budapest?

And if that was the reason, would it be because he shares similar views with some on this conflict?
These are just questions, for which I don’t have the answers. The same goes for those surrounding the France-Israel return match this Thursday at the Stade de France.
After reading a reminder published Monday, November 11 by the site le10sport.com: “This summer, PSG lost Kylian Mbappé. The native of Bondy took advantage of the end of his contract in the capital to sign freely with Real Madrid. However, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has still not digested his departure. As a result, the president of PSG is preparing a colossal transfer in retaliation against Casa Blanca!
How will President Al-Khelaïfi – Qatari by nationality – “take his revenge”?
Can we not then ask the following questions?
Does Mbappé still hope to receive millions from Qatar, while Qatar finances Hamas and Hamas takes a dim view of Thursday’s France-Israel match?

Additionally, France is preparing for violent protests against Jews in connection with this match (it should be noted that the decision to hold it at the Stade de France is the best solution, as even moving it to our Corsican friends – who would have dissuaded any pro-Hamas element from coming – would have been a demotion for France! Thanks to the ministers responsible for sports, police and justice!
Given all this information…
What would prevent Mbappé from making a friendly gesture, if not directly towards Hamas, at least towards the Palestinians by renewing, for example, his “pheasant” towards the Israeli team by not coming to see his old friends at the Stade de France?
If all these people are playing “You give me this, and then I’ll give you that!”, could there currently be negotiations, behind-the-scenes dealings, confessional confidences, and “And what are you proposing?” in progress ?

For what ?
But “simply” to ensure that the France-Israel match takes place as peacefully as possible, and that Mbappé is neither sidelined nor purely and simply banned from the locker room…
Or, if the simple spectator Mbappé is once again – which would be one time too many! – absent from a match for the blue team, should we look elsewhere for the reasons for his absence in Paris?
If this is the case, there is someone who will regret not being able to jump on him to shower him with “affection”: it will be the one who just announced his presence at this match… You You guessed, it’s Emmanuel for Mbappé, Macron for the others!

(2) Nasser al-Khelaïfi – who celebrates his 51st birthday this Tuesday, November 12! – is the Qatari minister without portfolio (but does he need a… portfolio?), as well as a businessman, a politician, and a sports leader as CEO of… PSG and also president of the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF) and vice-president of the Asian Tennis Federation for West Asia (ATF), without forgetting the presidency of Qatar Sports Investment.
