A person was taken to Dinant hospital after a fire broke out in their home located on Rue Grande, in the center of Dinant. His life would not be in danger.
During the night from Monday to Tuesday, a fire broke out on the third floor of an apartment located on rue Grande in Dinant. Firefighters from the Dinaphi zone under the command of Captain Gillet extinguished the fire, accompanied by a multi-function pump, a tank, an aerial ladder and a rehabilitation vehicle.
The occupant of the home, slightly intoxicated by the smoke fumes, was transported to Dinant hospital where she was treated.
The origin of the disaster was, according to initial findings, a candle which set the Dinant apartment on fire.
The other occupants of the apartment were able to return to their accommodation after emergency services intervened.
