So, while many stores will display closed doors in Strasbourg this November 11, it will always be possible to go to Kehl to do your shopping if necessaryor simply to stroll across the border.
For November 11, the CTS is strengthening its tram offer to Germany: while the rest of the network will be in public holiday mode, line D will run every 12 minutes, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., between Poteries and Kehl Rathaus. Special bonus: the trams will all stop at Kehl, whereas usually, one in two D trams stops at the Port du Rhin.
Good news for the 5,500 to 7,000 Strasbourg residents who cross the border daily, to go to a town just outside of Strasbourg, where we finally feel a bit like home.
