While The Penguin series has just come to an end, actor Colin Farrell spoke about the sequel to The Batman. The actor claims to know nothing, but intends to reprise his role in this anticipated sequel.
A deserved break
That’s it, the finale of The Penguin series has finally been broadcast by HBO on the Max platform, and fans must already be impatient at the idea of diving back into the universe of the dark knight and the bas- funds of Gotham. But unfortunately for them, we will have to wait a while longer. Colin Farrell, who plays the famous villain, was recently asked about this sequel by Collider. And the actor assures that he “knows nothing” for the moment, but expects to soon receive information from Dylan Clark, the producer of The Batman, the series The Penguin and this sequel. Above all, the actor nevertheless wants to take a breather and take a vacation.
I would say Dylan will let me know very soon. I could call Dylan today and ask him, I guess, what we’re planning, when we’re going to start filming and all that, but I’ve kind of had enough for now. I need to get away and stay home, relax, watch movies, and go on hikes.

In the shadows of Gotham
For the moment, this second chapter dedicated to the dark knight Robert Pattinson version is still very discreet. We nevertheless know that the actor will play Batman again, that Colin Farrell will return as Penguin, but also that Zoë Kravitz and Andy Serkis should reprise their roles as Catwoman and Alfred. But for now, that’s about all we know. Matt Reeves, director of the first film, was nonetheless optimistic, explaining last September that the script was almost complete.
