Biological analyzes made it possible to establish that the man found dead is indeed the father of the 19-year-old young man, discovered seriously injured.
On Wednesday November 6, a man was found dead in a house in Dampierre-en-Burly, near Gien. His body had numerous stab wounds and others likely to have been caused by hammer blows. In the same house, a 19-year-old young man was also discovered, alive, but seriously injured in the head.

This Monday, November 11, the public prosecutor of Montargis, Jean-Cédric Gaux, announced that the vital prognosis of the young man, transported to the Orléans hospital center, is still engaged. He was apparently the owner of the house in which the tragedy occurred.
Investigations still carried out in the house
Biological analyzes also made it possible to confirm that the man found dead was indeed the father of the 19-year-old man. He was 53 years old.
“In view of the extreme seriousness of the facts”, continues the prosecutor, investigations are still being carried out by the gendarmerie in the house in the quiet subdivision of Clairière de la Mardelle, in Dampierre-en-Burly, a village where the residents met say they are surprised by such a tragedy. “Here, it’s rather quiet; we’re not used to things like this,” admits a resident.

“It seems that the young man had just arrived in the town. I don’t know at all if his dad lived there too. It’s a family that we don’t know,” testifies a Dampierroise.
