During the night of Sunday 10 to Monday 11 November 2024, a fire broke out in the middle of the famous Barcarès Christmas Village. Aerial images of the site captured by the SDIS 66 drone allow us to see the damage.
The damage caused by the fire that occurred on the night of November 10 to 11 on the site of the Barcarès Christmas Village is significant. The fire ravaged seven chalets and also devoured three boxes used to install the structures.

This Monday, the Sdis 66 firefighters published a video and photos taken by drone on social networks. This aerial shot allows us to see the extent of the damage.

The Christmas Village was to be inaugurated this Saturday, November 16. Due to this fire, the opening is now announced to be delayed until “next week”.
