A boater in the port of Deauville (Calvados), he lives on his sailboat all year round with his partner, Sébastien Blondeau plans to sail around the world. He has been based in Deauville for four years. Born in Corbeille-Essonnes (Essonne), he went to live near Montpellier (Hérault) before returning to Le Mans (Sarthe) where his father, suffering from cancer, lived. He lost his father ten years ago. His mother and mother-in-law also left because of this illness.

“I had the idea of sailing around the world to raise awareness. I approached the League to create an association to fight against the disease. It is currently being created , he explains. All donations will be donated to the association. I started approaching companies for sponsors. » He also feels “the call of the sea”.
He plans to complete this world tour either on a schooner, with a steel hull, 14 m long, or on an Esquina, a sailboat 11.27 m long and 4 m wide. He plans to stop at several places around the world and pass by the mythical capes of Good Hope (African continent), Horn (American continent) and Leeuwin (Australian continent).
When does he plan to leave? “In a little over a year, early 2026.” Time to prepare everything. He will leave alone.
