In Billiers, the new generation takes over at Domaine de Rochevilaine

“Our plans? Sticking to the same line, we’re not going to revolutionize everything, we’re going to keep the soul of the house. » The new directors of the Domaine de Rochevilaine, hotel-restaurant in Billiers (Morbihan) do not intend to overturn the table and the business will remain family since Bertrand Jaquet, soon to be 75, hands over to his daughter Cécile Nouail Jaquet and his son-in-law chef Maxime Nouail.

The handover is also done smoothly “since dad still lives here part of the time and keeps a kind eye”, explains Cécile, 43 years old. He took over this Relais et Châteaux in 1997, at Pointe de Pen Lan, under the charm of the place, of these Breton houses and manor houses built here, stone by stone, on the edge of the ocean.

5e generation of hoteliers

Cécile Nouail Jaquet, 43, has worked at the Domaine for 20 years as restaurant manager, after attending hotel school in Saint-Nazaire and 3 years in England….
