The XV of France begins its fall tour. A year after their defeat in the quarter-final of the World Cup against South Africa, the Blues return, for the first time, to the Stade de France for an opposition against Japan, Saturday November 9 (9:10 p.m.). Before hosting New Zealand (November 16) and Argentina (November 22) in this same venue, the match against Eddie Jones’ team is an opportunity to reconnect with the French public, after a difficult summer on the extra-sporting plan.

Absent from the team in 2024 to prepare for the rugby sevens tournament at the Olympic Games, Blues captain Antoine Dupont is associated with Thomas Ramos as a hinge in the absence of Romain Ntamack. Even if the matches were sometimes tight against the Japanese, the Blues never lost against their evening opponent (five victories and a draw).
