On Saturday November 9 at 9:05 p.m., France 3 broadcasts Murders in the Verdon Gorges. A TV film that benefits from a surprising storyline, just as much as its filming locations…
This Saturday, the collection Murders in… will once again make us travel with Murders in the Verdon Gorges. Under the direction of director Stephan Kopecky, we will find a great cast, notably composed of Bruno Wolkowitch, Barbara Probst, as well as Gary Mihaileanu and Michel Jonasz. A distribution serving a script co-signed by Karine Giebel! A recognized author of thrillers who signs her first television experience, in places apart…
Murders in the Verdon Gorges : Two sordid crimes and a family affair
Here, it all begins with the discovery of a corpse on the Castillon dam, in the Verdon Gorges. It concerns a local entrepreneur, aged 78, whose body was covered with snakes. A staged murder, this is a case that Major Thierry Rouvier and Captain Elie Zakine will take charge of. A duo helped by Rouvier's daughter, Chloé Delage, psycho-criminologist from the gendarmerie. The case will quickly become complicated with the arrival of an anonymous letter and a second assassination, stirring up the past of Chloé and her father. Because yes, it will be about the disappearance of the major's father, fifty years ago.
Murders in the Verdon Gorges : A TV movie steeped in history
Giving pride of place to history with its intrigues, the evening unit will not betray the reputation of the collection Murders in… Indeed, it will be about the Castillon dam, which during its construction caused the village of the same name to disappear under water in 1948. It will therefore be about a submerged commune, but not only that. The Verdon Gorges were treated to Stephan Kopecky's cameras, as were Lake Sainte-Croix, the ghost town of Châteauneuf-lès-Moustiers, the Ségriès monastery, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, La Penne-sur-Huveaune, or again Venelles and Les Salles-sur-Verdon. Marseille hosted the indoor scenes, such as at the old Provence chocolate factory transformed into a Gendarmerie. A place which, as we recall Tele-Leisurehad already hosted the police station of a certain Simon Coleman !
