Starting with select model year 2025 vehicles, Ford customers will be able to choose to upgrade to a one-time purchase when ordering the vehicle and will no longer need to activate BlueCruise again on their vehicle.

Additionally, Ford will continue to offer a free 90-day trial to customers who do not choose the one-year plan, if it is not included as standard or if the one-time purchase is not selected during checkout. controlling the vehicle. Customers will be able to experience hands-free highway driving for 90 days, then have the flexibility to activate the service annually or monthly at the end of the trial, depending on their needs. For example, a customer could activate the service for a month while on a road trip and not reactivate it for another year, or choose to activate it only during the holiday season.

BlueCruise availability will expand to model year 2025 vehicles and trims to give more customers who want a Ford electric, hybrid or gasoline vehicle access to hands-free highway driving.
