A little less than two weeks ago, Rodri and Aitana Bonmatí won the Ballon d’Or. To celebrate this, an event linked to this prestigious trophy has just arrived on FC 25, and we explain in detail how it works in this article.
Two Ballon d’or cards offered… on loan
As mentioned, something new has just arrived on EA Sports FC 25: a small event lasting a few days to celebrate the Ballon d’Or, its winners, but also more broadly its nominees. The good news is that you can add a male and female player to your team for free.
With the different cards offered, we already know that there are going to be some great possibilities and that these two cards will directly join your teams. The “problem” is that obviously, EA Games has no real interest in giving away two 95-rated cards at this point in the game.
Therefore, these two cards are loan cards. Besides, don’t think you can keep them for later, because they are loans limited in time. You will have four days, until Tuesday, November 12, to use themand then it will no longer be possible!
As for the cards offered, you will have two choices: one from five players and another from five players. Note that there are a total of 10 masculine and 10 feminine cards, which means that you will not necessarily have the same choice as your friends. Overall, the two cards you’re going to want are Mbappé and Hansen Ballon d’or. We still leave you with the list of players below.
Men:
- Rodri (Manchester City)
- Vinícius Júnior (Real Madrid)
- Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid)
- Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
- Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)
- Lautaro Martínez (Inter Milan)
- Lamine Yamal (FC Barcelona)
- Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
- William Saliba (Arsenal)
- Ruben Dias (Manchester City)
Women :
- Aitana Bonmatí (FC Barcelona)
- Caroline Graham Hansen (FC Barcelona)
- Salma Paralluelo (FC Barcelona)
- Sophia Smith (Portland Thorns)
- Lindsey Horan (OL)
- Marie-Antoinette Katoto (PSG)
- Trinity Rodman (Washington Spirit)
- Lauren James (Chelsea)
- Giulia Gwinn (Bayern Munich)
- Tarciane (Houston Dash)
An event to stock up on packs
Fortunately, the FC 25 Golden Ball event doesn’t just stop at the two loaned cards, although they will surely terrorize the game’s ladder during the weekend. By playing them, you will also have the opportunity to collect rewards.
Indeed, EA Games has planned a whole bunch of rewards for the days to come. To do this, you will simply have to complete objectives with the loan players that you have recovered. Since it is a loan in days and not in number of matches, do not hesitate to use them in Team Clash.
This will allow you to complete them very easily. In addition to these in-game objectives, you will also have DCEs appearing throughout the weekend. They will not require a lot of fodders and will allow you to progress in the event.
For the complete list of challenges that will be offered to you, as well as the associated rewards, we leave you with the complete details below:
- Successfully complete the daily DCE Ballon d’or 1: 500 XP
