here are the two departments placed on orange vigilance this Saturday

Météo- forecasters have placed Aude and Hérault on orange alert for risks of rain-flooding for the day of this Saturday, November 9. The department of Haute-Corse is also concerned, but on yellow alert.

Just like this Friday, November 8, the departments of Aude and Hérault are placed on orange vigilance for this Saturday, November 9 as well. The alert should, for now, end at 6 a.m. this Saturday.

“This Friday at the end of the day and during the night from Friday to Saturday, thunderstorms will break out, sometimes strong and accompanied by heavy rain, breaking out in the Gulf of Lion, particularly from the east of Aude to Hérault, on the coastline and in the interior,” notes the Météo-France website.

Haute-Corse does not escape bad weather

Haute-Corse is similarly affected by this rain-flood alert for this Saturday, but is at less risk. The department is placed on yellow alert for the entire day.

“During the day on Saturday, in the north-east of Corsica (2B), heavy accumulations of rain are possible, which may justify an increase in vigilance,” according to the weather forecast. Also note that these three departments are also on storm alert, and even on flood alert for Hérault.
