She will therefore become the first woman to hold this position in the White House.

The chief of staff is considered the chief aide to the head of state and plays a crucial role in the administration of every president.

Who is she?

Nicknamed “Ice Baby,” Susie Wiles operates mainly “behind the scenes,” Trump mentioned in his victory speech on Tuesday night.

The fact remains that the 67-year-old woman is one of the most feared American political agents.

Wiles began his career by joining Ronald Reagan’s presidential campaign during the 1980 election.

In 2010, the Florida resident landed a role with Governor Rick Scott who would later become a senator.

She will meet Trump during the 2015 Republican primaries. The multimillionaire will then give her the position of co-chair of his campaign in Florida. He managed to win the state against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

It was in 2018 that Wiles worked with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who put him in charge of his campaign.

He also described the woman as “the best in the business.”

For Donald Trump’s presidential campaign this year, Susie Wiles worked alongside Chris LaCivita, a veteran of Republican politics.
