As reported Le Figarotwo French gendarmes, diplomatic security guards (GSD), were arrested by Israeli police on Thursday, November 7, at Eleona, a French national estate located on the Mount of Olives, in Jerusalem. If the two officers were released after a few minutes after being taken to an Israeli police station, this event angered the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, who was visiting the holy city.
