The two suspects arrested three days after the fatal shooting which occurred during Halloween evening in front of the Seven nightclub, in Ardèche, were, according to information from Le Dauphiné Libération, presented to a Marseille investigating judge.
They were indicted for murder and attempted murder by an organized gang, participation in a criminal association with a view to preparing crimes, destruction by means dangerous to people in an organized gang, and concealment by an organized gang of a property resulting from a theft. Both were placed in pre-trial detention.
The alleged shooter, aged 19, and the one, aged 23, suspected of having been his driver during the Halloween evening, had been in police custody since Monday November 4 as part of the investigation opened for murder and attempted murder by an organized gang, and criminal association with a view to committing a crime.
Friday 1is November, shortly before 3 a.m., shots, for a reason that remains to be determined exactly, were fired in the direction of the queue at the Ardèche establishment. Nicolas Dumas, 22, was fatally shot, and two other people were injured.
On Wednesday November 6, a white march in tribute to Nicolas brought together more than 2,500 people in Romans-sur-Isère.
