Or has Harris failed to mobilize her people? Both are true. But the results, still partial, seem above all to point to a collapse of the Democratic vote.
This year, the participation rate should be close to the record rate of 2020 (66.6%), according to forecasts from the Washington Post. The final results will not be known for several days. The counting of the West Coast States, in particular, is still in progress. In California, for example, which has 22.6 million voters, only 55% of the ballots had been counted this Thursday at 5 p.m. (French time).
