Seals and candles commemorate the tragedy that occurred on the night of Sunday to Monday (November 3 to 4). The toll is very heavy: 2 dead and 5 injured.

Discovering the crime scene is a painful ordeal that everyone in the city still remembers.

When I went up to the apartment and saw the young man on the ground, it hurt me. I cried. I saw the child injured, his leg was cut open. There was another girl on the ground. She had two or three bullets in her stomach. She held me and told me she didn't want to die.

According to this witness, the mother was absent at the time of the tragedy.

People say the mother was there and went to hide. This is not true. The mother was not there. She arrived later.

Today, some tenants live in anxiety. Two men in their twenties were arrested. They are currently being interviewed by investigators from the Judicial Police. These hearings should continue before possible referrals to the Fort-de-France Public Prosecutor's Office.
