Volodymyr Zelensky declared this Thursday, November 7 that North Korea “is now waging war in Europe” after the alleged arrival in Russia of thousands of soldiers from this country.
From Budapest in Hungary where European leaders are meeting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky estimated this Thursday, November 7 that North Korea was “now waging war in Europe”. And this, due to the alleged arrival in Russia of thousands of soldiers from this country, denounced by kyiv, Seoul and the West.
“North Korea is now waging war in Europe. North Korean soldiers are trying to kill our people on European soil,” Volodymyr Zelensky said in a speech to European leaders gathered in Budapest.
Concessions to Putin would be “suicidal” for Europe
The Ukrainian president, whose country has been fighting for almost three years against the Russian invasion, also affirmed that any concession on Ukraine to Vladimir Putin would be “unacceptable” for kyiv and “suicidal” for Europe.
“Some of you here have strongly recommended that Ukraine make 'concessions' to Putin,” he lamented.
Speaking at the opening of the European Political Community summit, Volodymyr Zelensky called for ties between the United States and Europe not to be “lost” but “enhanced” after victory of Donald Trump in the American presidential election.
“We hope that America will become stronger. This is the kind of America that Europe needs. And a strong Europe is what America needs. It is the bond between allies that must be valued and which must not be lost,” he said from Budapest.
