Maya is worried about meeting Quentin, Marc Leroy’s protégé. She asked Vic to investigate. Vic tells him that he is living with the Leroys because he met the chef in Japan. But she doesn’t know why he’s there. Maya explains that Quentin hosted a cooking workshop in their home but that he was picking on her. To stop this harassment, she stole money and hid it to frame him. He was summoned by the director to talk about the theft but he disappeared beforehand. Leonard thinks his presence is just a coincidence.
Stanislas finds his wife in the hospital. She tells him about the so-called high school friend who came to read to him. He explains that it is one of his colleagues. She asks to meet her.
Charlène leaves the house to join her father who has gone to open a pastry shop. Constance and Bérénice find themselves alone. Bérénice suggests that her sister go on vacation with her and Carla.
Maya becomes disillusioned during Hortense’s class when she sees Marc and Quentin arrive. The young man stares at her strangely when he sees her. Hortense asks him to taste Vic’s dish. Quentin then asks to taste Maya’s, he makes a remark to her saying that her dish gives the impression that she wants to hide something.
Carla disappointed by Bérénice’s proposal
Stanislas admits to Alice that he has difficulty believing that his wife has awakened. Laëtitia joins them to get news from Maïa. He apologizes for not having heard from her over the weekend. She asks him to talk about their relationship later. He tells her that Maïa wants to meet her. She accepts.
Maya is afraid because she saw that Quentin had recognized them. She wonders the reason for her visit and rushes to speak to Marc Leroy, much to Leonard’s dismay. Malik intercepts her to talk to her but she doesn’t want to know anything. Malik wonders if it’s related to Quentin. Leonard tells him.
Bérénice suggests that Carla go on vacation with her and Constance to the campsite where she went as a child which is roots. Carla assures that it doesn’t bother her but she lies.
Maya asks Marc what his protégé is doing at the institute. But Quentin interrupts them by saying that he is there as a tourist. He explains to Marc that they know each other from an internship in a home. Left alone, Maya innocently asks him why the internship was cut short. He replies that he knows very well that it is her and that he hopes that she will avoid accusing him of theft this time.
Laëtitia and Stanislas are with Maïa, Laëtitia confirms that she came to see her several times to help out her colleague. They joke and get along well between them.
Hortense and Marc announce to Antoine that they have decided to take the exams. He is not convinced but they have the approval of Rose and Teyssier. Marc also asks to organize a drink the day before the exam so that the students can get together. Antoine thinks it’s not the right time.
Maya soon to be fired from the institute?
Rose asks Carla to help her choose her vacation rental. She offers to spend a few days with her. Carla is delighted, especially since she doesn’t want to go camping.
Hortense and Marc announce to the students how the exams will take place. There will be two pair events and the three best will compete to be valedictorian. If a student does not have the average, he is kicked out. Quentin stares at Maya.
Stanislas thanks Laëtitia for coming to see Maïa. He apologizes for not calling her back but admits he didn’t know what to say. She tells him that she understands that his wife is his priority. They don’t regret the beginning of their story which could have resulted in something nice, but they decide to remain friends.
Hortense and Marc draw lots for the pairs for the exams. Kelly is with Jasmine, Malik with Leonard and Maya with Jim who reminds him that he has to be 18/20 to not be fired. Maya is disillusioned when she learns that for the first test, they will have to compete with Quentin on a haute cuisine recipe. She thinks he’s going to screw her.
