Cédric Chaillot, detained since 2019, appealed his conviction. On the evening of the events, the main accused opened fire in the parking lot of the nightclub, injuring two men, one of whom was fatal.

4 days of hearing

Under police escort in the dock, Cédric Chaillot is on trial in a state of recidivism of violence with use or threat of a weapon resulting in death.

At first instance, while handing down a sentence of 20 years of criminal imprisonment, the Assize Court reclassified the facts as manslaughter. The jurors had ruled out the intention to kill, for Cédric Chaillot.
