While Treyarch continued yesterday to tease the new content that will arrive in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 during the deployment of Season 1, the studio also immediately deployed a brand new update bringing numerous fixes, some of which were expected by fans.
The list of changes in the new Black Ops 6 update
This is an important update, as it provides fixes requested by players. Indeed, Treyarch has made a first change to the Scout combat specialty, which should please the many players who railed against it.
Also, the development team adjusted the spawn point logic across several maps. She will continue to collect data to ensure that spawns are not frustrating.
Finally, another notable change, the blinding time of flash grenades has been reduced. You can discover the entire patch notes for this new Black Ops 6 update below in French.
Remember that the game is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 as well as PC via Steam, the Windows Store and Battle.net. The title integrated Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from its launch, as well as PC Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Armes
We've seen discussions about the relative balance of assault rifles and submachine guns, and we're making some preliminary general changes to adjust their effective range. For Assault Rifles, we are increasing the minimum damage range and reducing the impact of headshots at close range. SMGs have their damage range increased to improve their effectiveness at medium range. Full details can be found on the full patch notes.
Shotguns
Last week we fixed an issue with Slug Bullets for Shotguns, but we are still working on an additional issue that causes this attachment to perform better at hip fire than expected. Slugs are meant to offer an alternative playstyle to Shotguns, trading close combat effectiveness for better range and accuracy. We are currently removing Slugs' ability to kill with a single body shot and will revise the general tuning of this accessory in a future update.

- Players will not notice this issue if they enter the Armory during a match.
- Players can equip optic attachments, but will need to re-equip them each time they enter the Armory in a main menu to adjust attachments or customizations.
- In the case where an optic is locked and equipped via a blueprint, players will need to reapply the blueprint to obtain the optic.
Zombies
