The appearance of GBU-39/B SDB aerial bombs in the Ukrainian ranks appears to be a very important and timely reinforcement for kyiv because these weapons would be very effective and resistant to Russian jamming.

Ukrainian Air Force planes are now armed with American GBU-39/B SDB bombs, reported in May The Independent.

The carrier of the bombs is the Soviet MiG-29 fighter jet. To do this, it is equipped with a standard BRU-61 beam carrier, which allows it to carry up to eight small diameter bombs.
