REPORTAGE – The murder of the young Rugby player comes a year after that of Thomas in Crépol, licensed in the same club. In the Drôme, where they were both from, a painful feeling of “déjà vu” runs through people's minds.

Thomas and Nicolas were five years apart. One was still studying at the Lycée du Dauphiné in Romans-sur-Isère when the other, who had also attended this technical establishment, was beginning his professional life in mass distribution. The first, aged 16, was at a ball in Crépol, a village in the Drôme des Collines. The second, aged 22, at the entrance to a nightclub, Le Seven, five kilometers from Valence. Disturbing coincidence, these young people who knew each other by sight were licensed at the Romans-Péage Rugby Club. And surrounded by their rugby player friends during a festive evening, before it turns into drama.
Two days after Nicolas was cut down by the bullet of a hooded shooter at the entrance to the Ardèche club, there is nothing to connect the two cases, as dramatic as they are, warn the investigators as well as the elected official (various right ) of the commune, Marie-Hélène Thoraval.
