Françoise Briand-Le Guillou, metal enameller and secretary of the Route des Métiers d', the association organizing the event, noted the public's enthusiasm for this competition. “More than a third of our visitors voted. » Visitors came again in large numbers. Nearly 4,000 people admired the creations of the 49 artists and artisans present this year. And it was the young Metalworkers in fusion, Lili and Anna Gillet, sisters in unison, who won first prize. Established for a year in Bon-Repos-sur-Blavet, they designed especially for the “Ilôt” show, a levitating buoy, which seems to rise in the air or float on the surface. “This theme of balance inspired us a lot. “Ilôt” is also the first sculpture that was truly created with four hands. And what’s more, it was purchased during the show! »

A show which was therefore very beneficial for them who were invited there last year as “young talents”. The 2nd prize was awarded to the ceramic sculptor Yvonnick Le Guilloux, also president of the Route des Métiers d'art, for his hanging puffin while the blue sphere by the stained glass artist Pauline Le Goïc obtained the 3rd prize.

Children also marvel at the works presented. Here the Ker Piou Piou stand of the ceramic sculptor Yvonnick Le Guillou, president of the Route des Métiers d'art, and winner of the 2nd public prize. (Le Télégramme/Claire Charpy)
