The two men have already faced each other twice, and have one victory each. In 2021, the Frenchman defeated Zverev in the round of 16 in Halle (grass) in three sets: 7-6 (4), 3-6, 6-3. But two years later, it was at Bercy that the German took his revenge, in three sets (6-4, 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5)).
