This Saturday, November 2, the artists selected by the jury received their prizes, on the occasion of the 46th edition of the Salon d'Automne des Arts Audois, which closes its doors this Sunday at 6 p.m.

There is only one day left for those who have not yet done so, to go and admire the works exhibited at the Joë-Bousquet room in , on the occasion of the 46th Autumn Salon organized by the association of Aude arts. Each year, these artistic meetings bring together several artists from all backgrounds, and more than a thousand art lovers who come to stroll between the works. This year was no exception, as 68 artists were exhibited and 1,400 visitors were able to admire their work.

This Saturday, November 2, saw the traditional award ceremony* to the artists selected by the jury, made up of the guests of honor Andriy Bilichenko and Masha Bukhtiyarova, Kevin and Valerie Robbins from the Carcassonne gallery Artcassonne and the artist Antoine Harillo. “The choice was very difficult to makeconfides the latter. Usually I do the tour in thirty minutes, and I manage to select two artists per category, but it took me a whole afternoon and I selected four people. This is proof of a show that has a lot of interesting things to offer.”.

However, being able to give prizes to artists is very important: “Being an artist is very difficult. Knowing how to paint is no longer enough. Of course, it has never been easy, but before, you were an artist among thousands of others, today it is among hundreds of thousands of others. So you also have to know how to get lucky, and that means participating in events like this, and hoping one day to be spotted.”he analyzes.
